Most recruiters have never set foot on a work site

You've been promised the right person before.
Someone shows up who's clearly not suited, or no one shows up at all. Meanwhile your project keeps moving and you're managing the fallout. The labour hire industry has a trust problem, and it's costing both sides.
Employers, you're left fixing someone else's mistake
Recruiters who've never been on site are making field-level decisions. The wrong placement doesn't just slow things down, it creates safety risk, LTIs, and a problem you're left to fix.
Candidates, you deserve better than this
Wage theft, unsafe sites, and no one picking up when something goes wrong. Good workers who've been through that don't forget it, and they shouldn't have to put up with it.
WHO WE ARE

We've been in your position. That's the whole point.

Luke's a qualified electrician. Adrian spent years in BD across civil and construction in Adelaide. Between them they've worked alongside the people you're trying to hire and seen up close what breaks down when a recruiter is just trying to fill a number.

IronCore was built from that experience. Not from behind a desk, not from a course, from actually being on the tools and on site. That's the difference.

We know what a safe site looks like. We know what a strong candidate looks like. And we know how much damage gets done when someone cuts corners on either. You shouldn't have to manage the fallout from your recruiter's mistakes. That's on us to get right before anyone sets foot on your site.

"We'd been burned by recruiters sending us whoever was available. IronCore took the time to understand the role before sending anyone through. First placement, no issues, on site the next day."

what changes

What it looks like when it works

Projects stay on schedule. Sites stay safe. Workers show up because they want to be there, because someone took the time to put them in the right role for the right reasons.
Employers
Fewer call-outs, fewer incidents, and a recruiter you can actually call when something changes. Not just someone who picks up when the job's new and goes quiet after placement.
Candidates
Being treated like a person. Weekly pay, a point of contact who knows your name, and the kind of work that suits your skills and experience. Not just whatever was available on Tuesday.

Candidate
  • Do you work across both permanent and contract placements?

Both. For contract roles we can have someone on site in under 48 hours. Permanent placements typically close within 10 days. The process differs because the candidate pools are different. Contractors are generally ready to start straight away. Permanent searches pull from people who aren't actively looking but are open to the right move.

  • What makes your process different from a generalist recruiter?

Luke's a qualified electrician. Adrian spent years in BD across civil and construction in Adelaide. We've worked alongside the people you're trying to hire and seen up close what goes wrong when a recruiter is just trying to fill a number. We go to site, learn your business, and don't put anyone forward until we're confident they're the right fit.

  • How do you make sure a candidate is actually right for the role?

Thorough reference checks, tickets and qualifications reviewed, and a proper conversation about the role before anyone gets put forward. We'd rather tell you we haven't found the right person yet than send you someone just to close a job.

  • What industries do you work across?

Trades, renewables, defence, civil, and mining. Blue and white collar across all five. If you're not sure whether we cover your sector, get in touch and we'll tell you straight.

  • What happens after a placement is made?

We stay in contact. If something's not working, we want to know early so we can fix it. You're not going to get someone placed and then find us impossible to reach. That's exactly the problem we built IronCore to get away from.

  • How do I get registered with IronCore?

Head to the jobs board and apply for a role that suits you, or use the contact form to introduce yourself. We'll be in touch to have a proper conversation about what you're after, not just whatever's available this week.

  • When do I get paid?

Weekly. Timesheets in on time, pay runs on schedule. We know how much damage a missed pay causes and we don't let it slide.

  • Are the pay rates competitive?

Yes. We know what others are paying in Adelaide and our rates are above that across most roles. We're not the cheapest option and we're not trying to be.

  • What if a role isn't the right fit once I start?

Call us. We'd rather sort it out early than have you grinding through something that's not working. We're not going to leave you on site in the wrong role just to keep a client happy.

  • Do I need tickets and licences already?

Depends on the role. Some positions need specific tickets and we'll be upfront about that before you go anywhere near a site. If you're working on getting tickets, let us know where you're at and we'll factor that in.
